Boseong Cho

Cellist

Cellist Boseong Cho belongs to the younger generation of Korean musicians.

He studied cello under Professor Lee Kang-hon at the Korea National University of Arts in Seoul, South Korea, and Professor Ulf Tischbirek at the Lübeck Academy of Music in Germany.

In a short time, he has become a respected artist.

He was selected as a cellist for the Tanglewood Music Festival (TMC) in Boston and received invitations to music festivals worldwide, including the Tenerife Music International Festival in Spain, the Classical Beat Festival in Germany, Pro Musica Nostra in Slovakia, the Tongyeong International Music Festival in Korea, the Viva International Cello Festival in Switzerland, and the Euro Art Music Festival.

He regularly participates in various concerts of chamber music, baroque, romanticism, and modern music.

He collaborates with institutions such as Kronberg Academy, Euro Academy of Arts, and others in the USA, Korea, and Europe.

Most recently, he performed Dvořák's Cello Concerto with the London City Philharmonic Orchestra and received recognition in many international competitions, including the London International Concerto Competition and the Jeonju International Cello Competition.

Currently, he holds the position of cellist with the Slovak National Philharmonic and is actively engaged in the professional music scene as a guest in orchestras and as a soloist and chamber musician performing in Korea, the USA, and Europe.
